We simplify complex ideas and processes down to their essence. We take a stand for the integration of different approaches.
We fit a wide range of interventions and guidance approaches. For instance, we work well with case management, Rogerian style counselling, and cognitive behaviour interventions. In organisations we look at culture, team performance and individuals - with a focus on decision making, performance, behavior and motivation.
FutureSelves draws eclectically from a wide variety of psychological approaches
The four most prominent:
Modern self theory - possible selves are in the future, so they are directly tied to motivation because they represent personal goals to pursue and to avoid. Possibles selves are all the things that we hope, fear and expect. FutureSelves manages this complexity;
Ergonomics - the graphs provide a tremendous amount of item level detail that is comprehensible and manageable;
Cognitive science - the program uses goal s
etting, and reflects the importance of self-regulation;
Social psychology - the program recognises the importance of practitioner/client relationships in maintaining goal adherence in clients, and that group dynamics affect performance and goals.

Most of all, our approach is focused on the future - because that is where solutions are. Read more in our research section. Or see how our item banks and graphing works.
